Pricing FAQ

At minimum you need an Anthropic API key (the AI brain — nothing works without this) and an ElevenLabs API key (required for voice in and out). Without ElevenLabs, you won't have speech-to-text or text-to-speech. You pay those services directly at whatever their standard rate is — Updog doesn't touch your usage or take a cut.
No. Premium is unlimited. The free BYOK version is also unlimited — your ceiling is whatever your own API plan allows. We don't impose artificial caps on either version.
Yes. Your Updog account carries over. Sign into your existing account after going Premium and everything — your memory, settings, preferences — transfers over. You won't start from scratch.
You keep access until the end of your billing period. After that, Updog continues to work — you just drop back to BYOK mode, which means you'll need to supply your own API keys to use AI features. Your account, settings, and stored memories stay intact.
Not at launch — but the BYOK version is genuinely free and gives you the full Updog experience as long as you have your own API keys. It's a great way to get a feel for the product before committing to Premium.
Per-account. One subscription covers all your installs. Sign into your Premium account on any device and you're fully unlocked — that's the whole point of cloud sync.
